From Vancouver International Airport (YVR)
You can use Google Maps to get the best directions at the time of arrival. Please Note: It takes about 2.5 hours to get from YVR to TWU via public transit. Alternatively, you can use Uber or a taxi, which is costly, but it will only take an hour.
From Abbotsford International Airport (YXX)
The Abbotsford Airport is much closer to TWU than YVR, and may be a handy option for Canadian attendees, for most flights into YXX are Canadian. YXX is only a 35 minute drive from TWU. Please Note: It takes about 2.5 hours to get to TWU from YXX via public transit. Again, Uber and taxis are an option.
From the USA by car
Most people driving to Canada from the west coast of the USA will be taking I-5, presumably through Seattle and up to the Canadian border. The 2 border crossings that service this traffic are Douglas/Peace Arch and Pacific/Blaine. TWU is about 30 minutes by car from the USA border. A little further east are the Aldergrove/Lynden and Huntington/Sumas (Abbotsford) crossings. Please Note: depending on traffic, border wait times can range from 5 minutes to 3 hours. Be prepared. Possession of a Nexus card will drastically reduce border wait times.
